Hola and welcome to the desert. We are delighted to host you at 47075 Marrakesh Dr — known as Pinky's Palm Desert Retreat — and hope you enjoy your time in this beautiful Krisel/Alexander midcentury home. Our team cleaned and inspected the house before your arrival, so please take a look around and let us know right away if anything needs attention. You are here for vacation, so relax and have a great time — there are no silly questions, so reach out anytime if you want help operating something or would like recommendations for great places to eat and awesome things to do.

Good to Know

  • There are two Ring cameras on the property — one in the carport and one on the doorbell, which faces the front gate and pool area.
  • Please don't leave the heaters running while you're not home; they work best set between 67 and 71 degrees.
  • Vacuum, drying rack, toilet paper, paper towels, and the stepladder are in the front utility closet; Keurig pods are in the mushroom-shaped canister.
  • Please don't leave the lava lamp on for more than 24 hours.
  • The dishwasher door can occasionally stick on the right side if it shifts during a cycle — just be mindful.
  • Please keep outdoor pillows put away when not in use, leave the dining room and living room blinds open as requested, and only lightly water the houseplants once a week if the soil is dry.

The password is case-sensitive. Please don't add a password or change the router settings. The router is in the media room, off to the right of the entrance — to reset it, just unplug it and plug it back in.

Mailbox

The mailbox is located in the front of the property by the street, next to the walkway.

Television

Feel free to log into your own streaming apps on the TVs. Don't worry about signing out when you leave — we take care of that during checkout and cleaning.

Tennis

Tennis must be reserved through the Pro Shop — call 760.568.2688, extension 2.

Pool and Spa

The community pool has no time restrictions, but the spa/jacuzzi heater turns off at 10 pm. The pool itself is not heated.

Pool Maintenance

Landscaping is maintained on Mondays — gardeners usually arrive around noon, though the schedule can change, especially around holidays.

Trash and Recycling

Trash is collected every Wednesday morning. Bins are on the eastern side of the property — bag everything before placing it inside. Blue bin (recycling): plastic, glass, metal cans, bottles, foil, newspaper, magazines, boxes. Brown bin: everything else. Replacement kitchen trash bags are under the sink.

Gates

Golf must be reserved by calling the Pro Shop and asking for Dale Shaw; tennis is also reserved through the Pro Shop. Clubhouse dining is available per club hours — Bar Tue–Sun 2–5pm; Brunch Sun 10am–2pm; Lunch Tue–Sat 11am–2pm (reservations encouraged); Dinner Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun 5–9pm (reservations required); Happy Hour Fri 5–9pm (buffet station, no bar reservations). Hours are subject to change for scheduled Clubhouse events. Charge meals to Sabatella/47075 Marrakesh — charges are calculated and provided to you at the end of the month.
