Hola and welcome to the desert. We are delighted to host you at 2367 Yosemite Dr — your private mid-century oasis in Indian Canyons, nicknamed Sunset Sanctuary — with stunning mountain views, walls of glass, and a backyard perfect for cocktails, floats, and desert sunsets. You are here for vacation, so please relax and have a great time — fire up the BBQ, play your favorite music, and make yourself at home. There are no silly questions, so reach out anytime if you want help operating something or you would like recommendations for great places to eat and awesome things to do.

Good to Know

  • This is a private desert retreat — please help keep it perfect for everyone.
  • The home is protected by Desert Alarm, with a camera on the front doorbell. If it goes off by mistake, call 855.207.4423.
  • Climate is controlled by two Ecobee smart thermostats (one per zone) — keep windows and doors closed while running for efficiency.
  • The living room fireplace and rear yard fire pit are natural gas only — never burn firewood or other materials. Reach out to Tony or Tony Sr if you'd like a walkthrough on lighting either one.

All TVs are Smart TVs with streaming capabilities — feel free to log into your own streaming apps. No cable service is available.

Pool and Spa

The pool and spa run on a wireless Jandy AquaLink device. Pool Mode turns on the filter pump, rotates the valves to pool return, and heats to the pool's set temperature (adjustable with the up/down arrows on Pool Heater). The pool filter runs automatically every day, 7 AM – 5 PM.

Heating the Spa

  1. 1Press SPA MODE on the Jandy AquaLink device to start the filter pump and rotate the valves to spa return.
  2. 2Press SPA HEATER to turn on the heater, then use the up/down arrows to set your desired spa temperature.

Pool Maintenance

Landscaping service is Monday & Thursday, around 1 PM. Newman Pest Control and Rayne Water Conditioning each visit monthly (day varies) — advance notice is provided.

Trash and Recycling

Trash, recycling, and yard waste pick-up is Friday mornings. Cans are marked Trash, Recycle, and Yard Waste and live on the side of the house — Palm Springs Disposal moves them to the curb on pickup day and returns them afterward.
